This collection highlights the importance of the tree trunk by a game of superposition and texture. Indeed, the role of the tree trunk and branches is not only to support the foliage. They are especially the link between the roots and the leaves. The roots need the photosynthetic sugars produced by the leaves and the leaves are thirsty for water and nutrients present in the soil. The trunk and branches are therefore responsible for establishing these vital exchanges.
